After Care

Taking care of your tattoo is a very important process to have a amazing piece of Art.

Depending on the placement, the size, healing is different for everyone. A tattoo is an open wound, is very susceptible to infections, following this aftercare instructions will lower your risk of problems during the healing process.

  1. You should expect your new tattoo to be irritated, swollen, and possibly bruised.
  2. Usually, 1 to 3 days your tattoo will be red or irritated. If swelling or bruising occurs, this could last for up to a week, especially if tattooed in a sensitive area such as the feet.
  3. Clean your tattoo with water and nonsense soap twice a day before you apply any cream or balm.
  4. Apply gently any of the after care cream or balm of your preference, just enough to moist the area.
  5. Scabbing is a result of the body’s healing process. Let the scab fall off naturally. You will also want to make sure that you keep the area clean as well as moisturized, Don't over moisturize.
  6. During the final stages of the healing process, typically 7 to 10 days you can expect the skin to start to flake and peel.
  7. Please don't pick or scratch at the area, this could remove ink from the tattoo and damage it. A light slap, preferable over clothed skin, will give you relief when itching occurs.
  8. Make sure to wash the tattoo, pat dry it, and let it dry and peel on its own.

If after the healing you do need a little retouch, we'll be more than happy to retouch it willing 60 days after the tattoo was made "for free".

Caring for Your New Tattoo

Tattoos often goes far beyond their aesthetic value, they are " Windows of the Psyche".

Tattoos can mean different things for different people

Modern and old school culture, argues about being very prescriptive about what we can do with our bodies, different styles and more, at the end is our body nobody can change that, can be seen from different points of view, and thats ok – from societal attitudes to weight or fitness, we use this as our way to express Art, like... who we are.
